Degree

This is a 3 years graduation course aiming at preparing the student with skills to hold a managerial position within the hospitality industry. It is based on the latest developments and current trends in the industry and equips you with skills to cater to the industry’s needs. NIPS Hotel Management offers multiple graduation courses with an added option of dual certification. By this process the student can get an opportunity to get international certifications along with regular degree. The degree certifications provided are on Hotel & Hospitality Management and also in Culinary Science. The student has to be Class 12 qualified from any stream.

Bachelor Degree – This is a 3 years regular graduation program on Hospitality Management and Cullinary Science. The candidates are trained on a managerial scale to meet the requirements and standards of the industry. This course includes Rooms division management, culinary management, food & beverage management, tourism management, service management, Food safety and hygine, Organizational behaviour along with communication and personality development. The most authentic and a vivid course for students . The minimum eligibility for this course, the candidate must pass class 12th from a reputed and recognized board.

Degree with International Certification – In this program the regular degree program on Hospitality Management or Culinary Science can be combined with the International Diplomas from London, UK on Hotel Management or Culinary Science. This course includes Rooms division management, culinary management, food & beverage management, tourism management, service management, Food safety and hygine, Organizational behaviour along with communication and personality development The minimum eligibility for this course, the candidate must pass class 12th from a reputed and recognized board.

Diploma

This is a compact and all round development programme that focuses on the present-day advancements and developments in the hospitality industry. It covers all areas of hospitality & hotel management, including introduction to Hospitality and Tourism, Front Office Operations, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Operations, Food Sanitation, Safety and Health, Hospitality Accounting, Customer Service, Organizational Behaviour in Hospitality Industry, and Work Placement. We have National as well as International Diploma Courses.

Diploma is Hotel Management – This is a 3 years diploma course on hospitality and hotel management. This course includes Rooms division management, culinary management, food & beverage management, tourism management, service management, Food safety and hygine, Organizational behaviour along with communication and personality development The minimum eligibility for this course, the candidate must pass class 10th from a reputed and recognized board.

International Diploma – It is a 2 years international diploma course and the certification is from United Kindom, London on hotel management and culinary science. This course includes Rooms division management, culinary management, food & beverage management, tourism management, service management, Food safety and hygine, Organizational behaviour along with communication and personality development. The minimum eligibility for this course, the candidate must pass class 12th from a reputed and recognized board.

Dual Diploma – This is a 3 years Diploma program which is actually a combination of the above two courses. This includes a National Diploma on hospitality and hotel management as well as an International Diploma on Hotel management or Culinary science. This course includes Rooms division management, culinary management, food & beverage management, tourism management, service management, Food safety and hygine, Organizational behaviour along with communication and personality development. The minimum eligibility for this course, the candidate must pass class 10th from a reputed and recognized board.

Masters

NIPS Hotel Management offers Full time 2 years Master’s Degree. This is very useful for students, who after completing their graduation wants to go for higher studies as well as graduates from other fields who aspires to enter the Hospitality Industry with proper education and certification. This course gives the students, a perfect insight and knowledge for managerial positions in the industry. Apart from the subject areas included in the Diploma and Degree courses, this course also includes Facilities and Maintenance Management, Events, Food and Beverage Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing in hospitality and Tourism, Resort Management, Niche and Specialty Management, Entrepreneurship. The minimum requirement is, the student should be a graduate from any UGC recognized university in any stream.

Masters – This is a 2 years regular Master degree program on hospitality management. Apart from the subject areas included in the Diploma and Degree courses, this course also includes Facilities and Maintenance Management, Events, Food and Beverage Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing in hospitality and Tourism, Resort Management, Niche and Specialty Management and Entrepreneurship. The most authentic and a vivid course for students who have just completed graduation from any stream.

Masters with International Certification – In this program the regular Master degree program on Hospitality Management can be combined with the International Diplomas from London, UK on Culinary science and Hotel Management. Know What You Will Learn

Food Production – In this subject the student gathers knowledge and expertise about multiple cuisines of the world and learns the basic and advanced skills of preparing the food using multiple methods of cooking.

Food & Beverage Service – This department deals with the service of food and beverages and the students learns the art and develops the skills related to the service of different foods and beverages along with mixology, flaring skills.

Front Office – This department is considered to be the face of the Hotel. In this subject the students learn the most important thing in the field of hospitality and tourism, i.e. guest handling. Apart from that students learn cashiering, problem solving, night auditing, room management etc.

Housekeeping – This department takes care of all the décor and ambience as well as hygine and upkeepment of the hotel. The students are taught a very important aspect asthetic sense and make them aware of how to create and maintain a beautiful décor and a lovely ambience.

Communication – This subject teaches the students how to communicate by utilising all the effective mediums of communication with the guest. To clearly understand their instructions and deliver their best as well as speak with fluency and confidence.

Computer – Computers are the most important and many a times the only medium of operations. Computer Knowledge is very necessary for the students. The students learn to handle multiple software while brushing up their basic computing skills.

Accounts – The student learns basics of accounting and a very basic knowledge about how the book of accounts are maintained by the corporate and how does a balance sheet and profit and loss account gets formulated and also the determination of cash flow.

Food and Beverage Management – A managerial study where the students learn how to manage and increase the profitability of the food and beverage departments along with the production and quality control.

Food Costing – This subject teaches the students how to maintain the food cost at the perfect level to maintain both the factors of quality and profitability.

Molecular Technology – This Subject teaches the students to understand the nutritional value and its importance of various foods. This subject also teaches them about food safety.

Hotel Engineering – This subject teaches the students about multiple dynamics of a hotel construction and infrastructure and the fire plan, the water supply, the wirings, cooling system, gas supply, emergency evacuation plan.

Tourism Management – This subject teaches the students about multiple dynamics of the tourism industry and its functioning and multiple methods of tourism promotions.

Etiquette – This subject grooms the students from all dynamics and developing a pleasing professional personality to make the student ready for the industry.

Entrepreneurship – This subject teaches the students on how to develop their own business ideas and how to make a proper business plan and the perfect way to execute it to make it a success.

Financial Management – The students learn to understand of how to plan and handle finances and develop a thorough understanding of how the financial sector works specially for Hospitality and Tourism sector.
