Limca Book of Records

NIPS School of Hotel Management in Kolkata has made it into the Limca Book of Records by whipping up 188 types of omelets in just 10 minutes. About 154 students too part in the challenge which was held on the college lawns. Chef Joseph Uttam Gomes helped the students. The effort proved to demonstrate teamwork between the students.

Judges from the Limca Book of Records, Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records were present. There were also local celebrities at the event.

Students were tested on the training that they had undergone in their hospitality course. The students had trained for the events so the timing would be perfect.

The range of omelets at the event included banana omelet, cucumber omlete, apple omelete and salami omelet. The more exotic ingredients included spaghetti, chocolate chips and wine.
